The Youth Enrichment Training (YET) Program has been developed around the premise that YOUTH LEARN AT THEIR OWN PACE. Individuals, whether they are youth or adults, have different styles of learning. Through the use of integrated technology a program such as YET allows students an opportunity to learn, mature, and gain knowledge at a pace and style that is comfortable to the individual. This is especially true when you work with younger youth and older youth populations. Consequently, we have developed a program that provides the following activities in a manner that allows the youth to achieve goals with the facilitation of staff:

· Career Inventory Assessment
· FCAT, GED, and homework assistance using computer-assisted learning software
· Reading (books and tapes) activities
· Online Entrepreneurship Training
· Classroom-based Job Ready preparation
· Leadership Development & Community Service Activities
· Life Skills, Life Earnings, and Escaping Poverty Workshops
· Post Secondary Education / College Planning Workshops
· Job Placement and Internship Placements
